Carole was born on January 31, 1934 in Chickasaw, Alabama and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 7, 2020 at the age of 86.
Carole lived in several cities in her childhood including Savannah, GA but came to call Cantonment, FL her home.
She attended Tate from 1st through 12th grade and graduated from Tate in 1952. She truly cherished her youth growing up in “the village” of Cantonment. She would talk about how all the young people would often pile up in the back of someone’s pick up and head down to Spring Lake for a swim. After graduation she worked for Chemstrand and married her soul mate in April of 1954. She was a loyal and faithful member of Allen Memorial United Methodist Church and loved her church family and her Lord and Savior. She was an avid Alabama football fan and every Saturday during College Football season she was in front of her TV pulling for her Alabama Crimson Tide.
She was a beautiful, kind, loving soul who was always sharing wisdom and was always willing to help when she could. She was the best mother, Gran, Great Gran, Great Great Gran aka GiGi in the world and loved her family tremendously. If you ask anyone about her cooking, they’ll tell you it was awesome.
She was preceded in death by her husband Francis E. Pippin, her parents Edwin Jules Dubus and Edna Earle (Roberts) Dubus and three brothers Edwin Jules Dubus Jr, Gary Byron Dubus and Raymond Preston Dubus.
