Jeanette Martin, 83, of New Boston, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the Clarissa Cooke Hospice House in Davenport. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Service of Muscatine. Interment will be in Eliza Creek Cemetery. Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at Ronald and Rita’s home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Jeanette L. Woodward was born on January 26, 1937 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Vesta (Smith) Woodward. On April 15, 1955 Jeanette was united in marriage to Ronald W. Martin in Eliza, Illinois. Jeanette owned and operated a beauty shop for several years. She enjoyed camping but most of all she loved taking care of her children and grandchildren.
Jeanette will be deeply missed by her children, Ronald (Rita) Martin, Jr., Terry Martin, all of New Boston and Kevin Martin of Muscatine; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer (Brad) Nelson, Jaime Current, Richard (Megan) Martin and Samantha (Jason) Dale and 9 great-grandchildren.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ronald and son, Curtis Lee Martin.
