Mary M. Flood, age 87, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Monday, August 24, 2020, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born July 4, 1933, daughter of the late William Vachel and Lelia Maude Clucus Flood. She was a 1952 graduate of Batesville High School, and she was employed by Poultry Factory in Batesville and Gunnel’s Restaurant in Caldwell and Cambridge. She was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Caldwell and the Noble County Senior Citizens. Mary enjoyed cards and flowers, playing bingo, and making crafts. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Crystal Gallagher; and three brothers, Mansel, Bill, and Roy Flood. Surviving by two sons; one daughter; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday, August 26, 2020, from 4-7PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Thursday, August 27th at 2PM. For those unable to attend, the funeral service will be livestreamed on the McVay-Perkins Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will follow at Halley’s Ridge Cemetery.
