Aldine Resident Killed Sunday In Hunting Mishap
Timothy Eugene Crowder, 5007 Toho Drive, was killed in a hunting accident Sunday December 14. Crowder the father of three small children was hunting alone on New Caney Creek near Conroe whe he apparently slipped down a soft embankment and the gun discharged, killing him instantly.
Timothy was a 1962 graduate of Aldine High School where he was chosen Most Popular and Best All Around of his class. He also was captain of the football team and was selected as an All-District and All-State player. Timothy was also a member of the {National}Honor Society.He later graduated from the University of Houston.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine, three children, Kenneth age 7, Monica age 5 and Michael, 8 months.
Suvivors also include his mother, Mrs L.S. Martin, sister Mrs. Randy Crowder, brothers James Crowder, Tommy Crowder, Billy Martin and Ronny Martin, all of the Aldine area.
Timothy was a member of the North Side Lions Club and Farington Baptist Church. He was employed as a salesman for the Lone Star Cement Corp.
Services were conducted Tuesday at 1 P.M. at Melrose Baptist Church with Dr. Ferman Weedon officiating. Interment was at Rosewood Cemetery.
