"Steven C. (Dick) Dickinson passed away Wednesday evening, July 6, 1983 at Saginaw General Hospital, after a brief illness. Age 81 years. He was born March 12, 1902 in Genesee County. He married Ruth Ferguson in 1953. She survives him. He was a member of the Catholic Faith. Mr. Dickinson was business agent for the Teamsters Union for twenty-five years, retiring in 1963. He then worked for Saginaw Landscaping, and a nursery in Flushing, MI. Surviving besides his wife, are two step-daughters, Mrs. Larry (Kathleen) Lundahl, Saginaw; Mrs. Bob (Mary Jane) Kelly, Bridgeport; four daughters from a previous marriage, Mary Lou; Virginia; Martha; and Marge; four step-grandchildren, Julie Kay and Jennifer Lynn Lundahl; Todd Lee and Jason Paul Kelly; one brother, Enis (Dutch) Dickinson, Flint; two nephews.

Funeral service will take place 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Deisler Brothers Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Robert Davey will officiate, with burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Hemmeter after 2:00 p.m. Friday where the family will be present from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday. Those who so desire may make memorials to their favorite charity."
