He m. 13 Aug. 1751, at Westm. Abbey (Lic. Fac. 8, he above 30 and she 20), Charlotte, 2d. da. of Sir Cecil BISHOPP, 6th Baronet [1620], by Anne, da. of Hugh (BOSCAWEN), 1st VISCOUNT FALMOUTH. She d. 16 and was bur. 21 May 1762, at Little Easton, Essex. He d. 18 and was bur. there 27 Jan. 1772, aged 50. Will dat. 22 June 1762 to 18 Jan. 1772, pr. 23 March 1772.

CHELMSFORD, Jan. 24.
On Monday last died at his house, in St. James’s square, Sir William Maynard, Bart. one of the Representatives for the county of Essex.
The late Sir William Maynard, Bart. is succeeded in title and estate by his eldest son, now Sir Charles Maynard, a young gentleman about 19 years of age, and at college at Cambridge, who on the demise of the present Lord Viscount Maynard, will likewise succeed to his Lordship’s title.
