Rachel G. Miller, 55, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020, at her residence. She was born in New Orleans and was longtime resident of Slidell, La.

She graduated from Bonnabel High School in 1985 and then attended college at The University of New Orleans, where she received her bachelors degree in accounting.

She had a deep passion for music and attended piano lessons for 14 years. She attended many concerts and music festivals throughout her lifetime. She looked forward to the holidays, especially Christmas where she found immense joy in showering her family and friends with gifts. She will always be our Christmas angel. Her love, loyalty, and commitment to family and friends never wavered and she had a profound love for dogs.

She was truly one of a kind and she will be missed dearly by her family, friends and her beloved dog Holly.

Rachel is survived by her son, Christopher Miller, 3 grandchildren; Christian Miller, Peyton Miller and Lexie Miller, her sister; Elisha Miller, her brother-n-law; Stephen Parks, daughter-n-law; Angel Bean, her nephews; Jason Miller and Joshua Parks, her Great nieces; Mia Miller and Madison Solet, and her niece-n-law; Jessica Grabert. She is also survived by her German Shepard Holly.

She is proceeded in death by her mother; Margie Miller, her father; Leroy Miller, her brother; Peter Valenzuela, and her dogs; Shredder, Blondie and Macy.

Rachel will live on in our hearts and memory forever.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,

1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 A.M.
