Clarence (Whitey) was born in Joplin, MO to the late William Henton and Anna Henton Doyle. He attended local schools in Missouri but was drafted into the Navy during WWII. He later finished his high school education at Delta College and completed 1 year of college.
After the war he and his brother moved to California for a better life and soon after all their families followed. Clarence was an avid hunter and fisherman; he loved music and his grandchildren.
Clarence was preceded in death by his wife Marie, his children Clarence (Sonny) R. Henton Jr. and Peggy Geurin, his siblings William Henton Sr. and Mary Jane Paul.
He is survived by his daughter Dorothy Caporusso (Edward). Grandchildren Ronnie Geurin (Bambi), Michelle Geurin, Fawn Fuller (Joshua), Two Moons Johnson (Nick), Blaze Geurin-Crow (Donald) Patricia Olcomendy (George) Kimberly Morgan, Cara Lofaro (Fabrizio), & Candice Bachle (David) also survived by sixteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; and special thanks to his niece Joy Ward who called him everyday. No services will be held per his request, interment will be private.
