Tom “Tommy” Williams Sr., age 68, of Dalton, passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 at Erlanger Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents; James and Lourine Williams; a brother-in-law, Austin Melson; and his sister, Lila Williams.
He was employed with Dalton Utilities for over 20 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Brenda Williams of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Terye and Andy Phillips of Cohutta, sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Karen Williams and Wesley and Tammy Williams all of Dalton, sister; Betty Melson of Dalton, brothers and sisters-in-law; Jim and Lois Williams of Britton, MI and Daryl and Teresa Williams of Dalton, grandchildren; Natalie, Hallie and Aiden Williams, Taylor Williams, Isaac, Landon and Savanna Phillips. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral home with Rev. Darey Kittle officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 5:00 pm til 9:00 pm.
