Stephen Douglas Bailey, 53, of Van Buren, AR, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020. He was born September 24, 1966 in Fort Smith, AR He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Audrey Bailey and brother, James Fielding.
He is survived by three sisters, Annette Bell and husband Stephen of Watauga, TX, Lela Nickell and husband David of Van Buren, Dawn Carpenter and husband Eric of Mulberry; two brothers, Phillip Fielding of Nocona, TX, Ben Bailey of Van Buren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at The Pentecostal Church on Kelley Hwy in Fort Smith with interment to follow at Steep Hill Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Reed Nickell, Alec Nickell, James Yeamons, Ron Patrick, Steve Campbell and Wendell Mastin.
Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2020, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
