She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Willhite Mitchell; her brother, Kenneth Willhite and wife, Martha, of Littleton, Colo.; neices, Earla Kay Mitchell of Godfrey, Kendra Mitchell DeLap of Miami, Fla., Greta Willhite Ridlin of Decatur and Marilyn Willhite Cooper of Bourbonnais; and nephews, David Willhite of Denver, Colo., and Dr. Gary Willhite of Lewiston, Idaho.
Bonnie taught school for 40 years. The last 20 years prior to her retirement, she was at Benton Township High School. She was a graduate of Southern Illinois Uni versity, Carbondale. Bonnie was a devout Christian and was a member of Mount Zion Freewill Baptist Church 79 years, longer than any other person has been a member of the church. Bonnie was dearly beloved by all who knew her. She gave freely of her time to her church, her family and the community. She was a "lady" in every sense of the word. bne was always ready to lend a helping hand, be it administering to the sick, or just helping a friend. She was a member of Southern Illinois University Alumni Associa tion, a past member of Cave Township Home Extension, and was a past president of the Business and Professional Women's Club in Benton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, John Collins, and second husband, Oscar Biggs, and two brothers, Ike and Tom Willhite.
Services at Mount Zion Free will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Marshall McCullough and the Rev. Randy Carney officiating. Buria in Mount Zion Cemetery, Thompsonville. Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in charge.
