Ignacio Rodriguez Jr. 75 of Pecos passed away Saturday August 15,2020 at his residence. He was born May 24, 1945 in Brogado, Tx to Ignacio and Socorro Millan Rodriguez, He was a Christian Catholic in faith and retired welder. Ignacio was the owner and operator of Area Welding for over 40 plus years. He loved getting together with family and friends enjoyed watching wrestling every Monday night , he listened to music and liked to change some words and add his own lyrics to songs, he liked to joke around and make his grandkids laugh. He always enjoyed playing washers and having washer tournaments because he was good at it. He always had a sweet tooth. He just loved his desserts. He was known to be a giving person and helping anyone in need, but most of all he loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart. They were his everything. You will be dearly missed by many, but never forgotten. May you forever rest in peace.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Panfilo Rodriguez.

Ignacio is survived by his daughters Irma Rodriguez Duckworth , Imelda Mendoza and husband Jesse all of Odessa, and Jacqueline Enriquez of Pecos, sons Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Rodriguez III and wife Jessica of Odessa, and Christobal Enriquez of Pecos, sisters Anita Rodriguez of Pecos, Olivia Binesh of Auburn, Ga, and Yolanda Matta and husband Raul of Odessa, brothers Thomas Rodriguez and wife Lupe, LeeRoy Rodriguez and wife Irma all of Pecos.

Mr. Rodriguez also leaves to cherish his memory 14 grandchildren, 7-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to COVID-19 visitation is set for 40 persons only Tuesday August 25, 2020 from 10am-4pm with a rosary at 2pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with social distancing guidelines and masks are required.

Graveside service of the inurnment is set for 10am Wednesday August 26 2020 at Mount Evergreen cemetery with Father Jose Dela Cruz officiating.

Same Covid-19 guidelines apply at the cemetery.
