Nevin Solomon Brown, 70, widely known carpenter, died Monday afternoon from a cerebral hemorrhage at his home in East Berlin. He had been in ill health for some time.

He was a son of Solomon and Anna (Zinn) Brown.

Surviving are his widow, who before marriage was Miss Rosa Bosserman; one daughter: Mrs. Charles Wherley of Hyattsville, Md.; two grandchildren: Kenneth and Phyllis Wherley; two brothers: Henry T. Brown and Harvey C. Brown of new Oxford R.2.; two sisters: Mrs. John bury of York and Mrs. Edward Renninger of Harrisburg.

Interment in the Union Cemetery at East Berlin.
