Perry J. Brooks Jr., 76, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada. Perry was born on December 15, 1943 in Boise, Idaho to Perry J. Brooks Sr. and Violet Brooks. He graduated from Midwest City High School in 1962 in Midwest City, Oklahoma, and then joined the Army National Guard in 1969. He toured Europe as an entertainment manager for four years. After returning to America, he worked for Caesar’s Palace and several other casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada. He married Parichat Lapcharoen on May 15, 1989. Perry was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend to all. His interests included travelling the world with his wife; working on and collecting classic and vintage vehicles, especially Morris Minors and Bugeye Sprites; playing with his beloved dog Trixie; and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Perry is survived by his wife of 31 years, Parichat Brooks; his children, Ekawit Sinerurat and Rutjai Sinerurat of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Perry J. Brooks III, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; brother Danny and wife Debra Brooks of Douglasville, Georgia, brother David and wife Stephanie Brooks of Stinnett, Texas, sister Darlene Coday of San Tan Valley, Arizona, and sister Gloria and husband Larry Joe Brown of French Lick, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry J. Brooks Sr. and Violet Brooks, and his brother, Jack Brooks. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 11:00 am at Palm Mortuary in Las Vegas, Nevada.
