Passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, age 71. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Sandy Dotson; three children, Robert Dotson (Gail Wright), Cynthia O'Dell (Tim), Paula Allen; two stepchildren, Bobby Jones, Steven Jones (Jenny); five grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Finley Dotson; two sisters, Patricia James (Ray) and Crystal Napier (Harold); close friend, Jill Smith and former wife, Martha Dotson and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, camp family and his best friend, his dog Tucker. Paul fought a long and tough battle with Chron's Disease and concurred a battle of double lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Swett; stepfather Carl Swett and father Erman Dotson. Paul served in the Marines from 1958 to 1962, worked at Clark Equipment until closing; he retired from R & B Tooling in Chelsea. After retiring, he and his wife operated a special needs camp for handicap people in Jerome, where he became a friend to many. In his younger years, he raced and maintained stock cars with his in-laws. He enjoyed square dancing and loved doing anything that involved being outside in his yard.
