She graduated from Au Sable Forks High School. She continued on to The College of St. Rose and received her Bachelor and Masters Degrees in education.
She taught American History at Catskill Central High School for 37 years, retiring in 2001.
After retiring she became a part time consultant for the NYS Education Department, testing development division.
Sarah is survived by several cousins and a long time friend and caregiver Margaret Bombard.
Many thanks to Pam, Jill, Tristine and Brian. These nurses were very kind and compassionate to Sarah at the end.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 28, 2020 at Holy Name Church in Au Sable Forks, with interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Holy Name Church, It’s our Church it’s our future Capital Campaign, through the funeral home.
