Terry Hensley (Twin to Tommie) age 64 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. He was born January 17, 1956 in Maggard, Kentucky to the late Dennie and Thelma Howard Hensley. Terry is survived by one son, Dennie Matthew (April) Hensley of West Liberty, one daughter, LeaAnn (Steven) Carty of Salyersville, Kentucky, two brothers, Justice Hensley, Stanley Hensley, both of Salyersville, Kentucky, three sisters, Alta Mae Howard, Eddith Hensley, Glenna Elam, all of Salyersville, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Madison Gullett, Peyton Carty, Aidan Carty, Karter Hensley, one great grandson, Brody Marsillett, with a host of nieces and nephews, and one special dog Polly.
In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by four brothers, William Hensley, Phillip Hensley, Irvin Hensley, Tommy Hensley, two sisters, Janet Hensley, and Patricia Hensley.
Terry was a union labor by trade, a member of the Union Local 1428, and former Magoffin County Magistrate.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with J.R. Owens and Frankie Lee Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Lyon Cemetery at Coon Creek, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Tuesday, August 25, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior till funeral services.
