JANICE ARLENE ZEISLOFT
AGE 85 YEARS
Janice Arlene Zeisloft, of Millville, went to be with the Lord, Thursday August 20, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was a daughter of the late Dewey and Elma (Lowe) Ritter.
Janice graduated from Muncy High School in 1952 in the highest honors group and top commercial student. She was employed at Sprout Waldren, until her marriage in 1953, then employed at Sylvania for several months until leaving the area to go to Army Post to live with her husband. Janice was the Madison Township Tax Collector for 12 years, employed by Easter Seals Society Bloomsburg and retired from American Cancer Society, where she was office manager for the Williamsport District Office. She was a member of the Jerseytown United Methodist Church, where she was secretary for many years. She skydived at the age of 62 and enjoyed dancing, especially to the Last Chance Band. She was a mom to many cats over the years.
Janice is survived by her husband, Nevin Zeisloft, whom she married on June 27, 1953, and three children, Jeffery Nevin Zeisloft, Daniel Duane Zeisloft and Cathy (Zeisloft) Rider. She’s the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents as well as four sisters: Bernice Kern, Shirley Shultz, Angie Shively, and Nancy Beatty.
Graveside services will be, Monday Aug. 24, at Jerseytown Cemetery at 10:30 a.m., with her pastor, Rev Martin Parr officiating.
