Andy was adopted by Alene's second husband, Larry King, in March of 1962, when Larry married Andy's mother. Larry and Alene divorced in March of 1963, but Andy remained the adopted son of Larry. Larry and Alene remarried in April of 1967 but divorced again, for good, on December 3, 1971. Andy continued to remain the adopted son of Larry King until Andy passed away on July 28, 2020 at his home in Gainesville, Florida. Andy had a Buddhist Natural Ceremony and was buried in a shroud in Gainesville, Florida.
