Mrs. Helen Louise (Street) Weir Williams, 88, of Fulton, Missouri formerly of Pineville, Missouri went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at her home.

Helen entered this life on December 8, 1922 in Broken Bow, Nebraska, one of four children born to the late Guy and Ruth (Beal) Street. In 1929 her family moved to Topeka, Kansas and shortly there after to Lawrence, Kansas. She graduated from Lawrence High School in the class of 1940. On August 1, 1941 in Camp Robinson, Arkansas she was united in marriage to Sgt. Robert C. Weir and to this union two sons and three daughters were born. They resided in the states of Arkansas, Texas and Kansas before moving to a forty-acre farm on Big Sugar Creek near Pineville, Missouri in 1952. In 1959 they moved their family to Kansas City, Missouri only to return to Pineville in 1969. Robert passed away on September 4, 1974 and six years later she married Mr. Vergil Williams, whom had seven children she loved as her own. She retired in 1985 in Anderson, Missouri where she had been employed by the Division of Social Services for fifteen years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pineville, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Robert C. Weir and Vergil Williams; an infant daughter, Marion Jane Weir; an infant granddaughter, Joyous Heather Jackson; and two brothers, Richard and Robert Street.

Helen is survived by two sons, Martin A. Weir and wife, Alice, of Richmond, Texas and Ronald E. Weir of St. Joseph, Missouri; two daughters, Jeanie Woods of Anderson, Missouri and Roberta Weir of Fulton, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; four step daughters, Connie Burns and husband, Joe, of Anderson, Missouri, Edith Kimbrough of Jasper, Missouri, Donna Brattin and husband, Alan, of Wheaton, Missouri and Mary Banks and husband, Ervin, of Goodman, Missouri; three step sons, Vergil Williams and wife, Betty, of Anderson, Missouri, Dale Williams of Stella, Missouri and Danny Williams and wife, Alesha, of Neosho, Missouri; eleven step grandchildren; fifteen step great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Oakson and husband, Bob, of Lecompton, Kansas; a sister in-law, Olive Street of Tonganoxie, Kansas; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Williams are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastors Frank Crosby and Tom Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in the Pineville Cemetery. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Ron Weir, Martin Weir, Mark Weir, Robert Fisher, Vergil Williams and Joe Banks.
