William spent his early life in the Peshtigo, WI area and later served in the Merchant Marines. He worked as a welder for many years and retired from Marinette Marine Corp.
William is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nancy (nee, Brendemihl);
two daughters: Michelle (Dan) Mullin of Troy, IL and Karen (Chad) Cosby of Peshtigo, WI;
and three grandchildren: Kyle, Kassidy and David;
a brother, Oliver “Bud” (Judy) Mays;
and two sisters: Roberta (Al) Bischel and Wanda Beattie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
In keeping with his wishes, no formal service will be held.
