Together, they had 3 children: Emmeline, who only lived one year, Emily Jane, and Nancy. Mary passed away 8 Jul 1839 at the age of 24 in Morgan County, KY. Robert then married Cynthia Ann Rice on 30 Jul 1840 in Floyd County, KY and together they had 8 children: John, William J, Archibald, Wiley, George, Henry Clay, Robert Franklin, and Mary Elizabeth.
