Helen Lois (Potts) Criswell, age 87, of Indianapolis passed away August 18, 2020 at The Altenheim Community, Indianapolis. Helen was born April 5, 1933 in Jackson County, Indiana to Richard C. Poots and Zita (Taylor) Potts.
Helen attended Crothersville HIgh School in southern Indiana and was a member of the graduating class of 1951. She was employed by RCA for 11 years and Naval Avionics for 30 years. She enjoyed caring for her pets over the years, some dogs, but a lot of different cats and kittens.
Helen is survived by son, Larry (Kathy) Sebastian; grandson Larry (Kristi) Sebastian, Jr.; granddaughter, Dorene Sebatian; sister, Thelma Winter; brother, Richard Potts; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by brother, Roger Potts; and granddaughter, Sara Ann Sebatian Vandever.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon August 22, 2020 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
