KENDALL, HERBERT REEVES. Private. No GS/18254. East Riding Yeomanry. Born Hull. Son of Mr and Mrs Arthur Kendall, 54 Tanfield Road, Birkby, Huddersfield. Enlisted November. Was drowned on 15.4.1917, when the Transport Arcadian was sunk by a torpedo.
Buried SYRA NEW BRITISH CEMETERY, GREECE. Grave location:- Plot 2, Row A, Grave 9.

Herbert Reeves KENDALL, born in Hull East Yorkshire in 1882. His family had moved to Huddersfield, Leeds Evening Post 17 July 1939 KENDALL-July 14 at St James Hospital. Julia Knight, aged 87 of 20 Stanhope View Leeds the beloved wife of the late Arthur Kendall journalist of Hull and Huddersfield.
