Age 95, died July 17, 2016. Marian was born July 23, 1920 to Martha Brasier and Alexander Garrison Jr. She was a former member of the Hoedown Square Dancers.

Surviving are children; grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie; 2 sons, James Simpson and Jack Simpson; brother Vernon Garrison; and sister Marjane Snow.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
