Obituary for Lucille Frances Carter

Lucille Carter attended 7th Standard Pentecostal Church of God for about 50 years. Lucille was a Woman of God. She was a definitely a Prayer Warrior. Lucille always seemed to have a smile on her face. She had a listening ear and did what she could to help a person in need. She was a Servant of God. Lucille was willing to help her church to further the Kingdom of God. Lucille may not be here physically, but she wills always remain in our hearts for the years to come.

Lucille was born… on July 11, 1923 in Mansfield, Missouri to her parents Benjamin and Eunice Freeman. She married James Smith in 1938. They moved to California in 1939 and then to Shafter in 1947. Lucille married Dolphus Carter in 1961. Lucille and Dolphus had a Prison Ministry at Lerdo Jail for 34 years. They attended 7th Standard Pentecostal Church for about 50 years before her health kept her from attending church.

Lucille had 3 children. Ronald passed away early in life. Donald lives in Paso Robles and Virginia lives in Bakersfield. Lucille is survived by 3 children, 4 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and 11 Great Great Grandchildren. One Grandson has passed away.

Visitation is on Monday December 11, 2017 from 4pm-6pm at Peters Funeral Home in Shafter.

Funeral is Tuesday December 12, 2017 at 10am at 7th Standard Pentecostal Church of God on the corner of 7th Standard and Santa Fe Way in Shafter.
