After a long battle with Cancer Patricia was called home on (February 23, 2017, while at her residence in Orange, NJ.
Patricia attended public schools in Newark and East Orange, NJ graduating from Clifford Scott High School in 1975. After graduation she worked for Exxon Research and Engineering for 15years.
Affectionately known as '"Trish" to her beloved family, she had a passion for reading, she loved playing cards, listening to music, spending time with her family and caring for her dog Cutie.
Patricia lived in Texas for a short period where she made a lot of friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Shaw-Purcell of Morristown NJ.
She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life her father Henry Purcell, Sr. of Pleasantville, NJ, sisters Karla (Purcell ) Brown of McKinney TX and Sharon Purcell of Orange, NJ, her brother Thomas and sister in-law Nichole Purcell of Carlisle, PA, nieces Tasha Cheatham-Jones, Vanessa Brown, Candice Purcell, Sydney Purcell, Yasmine Clark nephews Jordan Purcell and Kylarr Brown, step mother Lana Purcell step brother Clinton Wallace, her longtime companion Ogbonna Khalfani and a host of family and friends.
