Raymond John Steele, 76, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully Thursday February 13, 2020.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM Tuesday February 18, 2020 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Noah Carter officiating. The family will greet friends from 9:30AM to 10:00AM Tuesday at the church.
A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Raymond was the husband of Gail Finley Steele (married 3 May 1991) and the son of the late, Marshall Clayton Steele and Rita Mae Walters Steele. Raymond was owner operator of Gail’s Accents and a fervent contributor to Furniture Today. He retired from the furniture industry with over 50 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Gail of the home; daughter, Dawn Maxwell and husband, Terry Sewell of Shephard, TX; son, Derek Steele and wife, Jackie of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Megan, Sydney, Arthur, Jackson, and Olivia; great grandson, Dallas; and sisters, Cathy Degnan, and Debbie Dutill.
In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his brother, Marshall Steele.
