Brenda is survived by her children: Johnny Ray Blankenship, Jr., Debra Blankenship Yost (James) and Denise Miller (Gary); sister, Peggy Smith (Gene); brother, Jack Daugherty; grandchildren: Brandon, Brittany, Brooke (Dillon Anderson) and their son Brayden, Brandy and Nicole; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; including: Beverly Stacy, Lisa Basler, Darlene Long, Pamela Tresser and Linda Chicoine.
Brenda loved playing BINGO and cards, especially poker. She was an avid sports fan who loved to watch the Tennessee Volunteers football and Kentucky Wildcats basketball. Brenda was a great cook and a wonderful lady who would do anything for anyone. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed.
Private services will be held for the family at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. Burial at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
