Donna May Daily, 56, of Ottumwa, passed away Dec. 27, 2011, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

Donna was born Feb.9, 1955, to Rolland and Mildred Daily in Salem, Ore. She married Dale Sheppley, and together they had one daughter.

She resided in Salem for the majority of her life. After graduating from high school, Donna joined the Army, serving her country for three years, and then returned to Salem. Danna enjoyed traveling and spent time living in different parts of Iowa and Las Vegas. At the time of her death, she was a resident at the Good Samaritan Center.

She leaves behind her daughter, Christina Sheppley of Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister, Marjorie Jackson of Eldon; a brother Rolland(Patty)Daily of Monroe; numerous nieces and nephews; and two great-nieces.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Memorial services will be 11 am Jan. 7, 2012, at the Living Hope Bible Church; with pastor Mark Clark officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.
