Brenda Frye, 70, a native of Gray and resident of Houma, peacefully departed this life Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at Beacon Light of Houma. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery in Houma.
She leaves to cherish her memories her beloved husband, James Frye; loving son, Paul Lamkins Jr. (Dawn); sister, Bessie Mae Evans; grandchildren, Will and Dylen Lamkins; five sisters-in-law; six brothers-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ada and Tom Robertson; brothers, Tom Jr., Earl and Joseph Robertson; sisters, Charlotte McGuin, Ella Townsend, Geraldine Douglas, Ada Falls and Carol Morgan; mother-in-law, Lou Ethel Frye; father-in-law, Davis Frye; and sister-in-law, Helen Shirley Mae Coleman.
