Mr. Larry Strong was born on February 1, 1970, to Linda Strong Axson and the late Larry Horne. He departed this life on February 6, 2018. He was a 1988 graduate of Dublin High School. He was employed by Jones and Sons Trucking Company of Dublin. Mr. Strong was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his fathers, Larry Horne and Reuben Axson; grandparents, Lucion and Allene Horne, Maudell Hurst, aunts, Hazel Sue Wright, Lillian Wright, uncles, Lucion Horne, Jr., Ronnie Horne and Ronnie Wilcher.
Mr. Strong leaves to cherish his memories his son, Tyshondrick Strong, his mother, Linda Strong Axson and his stepmother, Camilla Horne. He is also survived by three brothers, Rashaun Axson, Derick (Vernita) Walker, Shannon Horne all of Dublin, a sister, Luciana (Michael) Kemp all of Dublin, seven aunts, Merlyn (George) Swint, Sandersville, Thelma (Hardwick) Robinson, Sharon (Darrell) Graham, Terrell Horne, Miami, Florida, Lisa (Milton) Moorman, Marietta, Robin Horne, Wrightsville, Cora (Willie) Ogburn, Dublin; uncles, Marshall (Gloria) Axson, Rickie Kellam, Roy Kellam, Howard Phillips, five nephews, Derian Walker, Devin Durham, Donovan Walker, Drake Walker, R'Javien Moss, three nieces, Demori Axon, Ava Vickers and Desley Walker. He is also survived by a host of cousins, other relatives, co-workers, and friends including Sheila Christian, Rozelle Slaymon and Marlo (Feleica) Harris.
The family will receive friends at 405 South Franklin Street in Dublin.
