Obituary of Daniel McCarthy
Daniel (Danny)McCarthy (55) of Villas went to be with the Lord Thursday July 30th surrounded by his loved ones. After a courageous battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his parents Francis and Anne McCarthy. He will be sadly missed and happily remembered by his loving wife Margaret (Margie) and children Courtney, Heather, & Cameron Kane. Also 9 Brothers & Sisters John (Sharon), Francis (Gere), Patrick (Diane), Harry (Cheryl), Veronica, Joe (Karen), Anne Mclaughlin, Rose Moore, Mary McCarthy. So many nephews, & nieces, cousins and very large group of friends.
Dan graduated from Lower Cape May Regional, 1983. He took great pride in his work as a carpenter for Ken Marzullo Construction. Dan was so proud to be an officer and member of Greater Elks (Lodge #2839). He was also a member of the Villas Fishing Club, a devoted Nascar fan as well as a Patriot fan, and an avid dart player.
Friends may pay their respects from 1pm- 3pm on Thursday, August 6th at Evoy's Funeral Home; a private service for immediate family will follow at 3pm. Condolences can be shared at www.EvoyFuneralHome.com.
