Mrs. Frances Irene Toon Wilson Burgess, age 94, of Farmington, KY passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayfield, KY and a retired employee of Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mrs. Burgess is survived by one son, William "Bill" (Ann) Wilson of Mayfield, KY; three daughters, Dorothy (James) McCulloch of Hendersonville, TN, Margaret Gore of Farmington, KY and Cathy (Butch) Shell of Mayfield, KY; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Elmer Burgess; four brothers, Ira Toon, Earl Toon, Leon Toon and Alton Toon; one sister, Hazel Toon Wilson; one grandson, Bobby Gore; and her parents, Elvis and Idella Hobbs Toon.
A Funeral Mass will be held for Mrs. Frances Irene Toon Wilson Burgess at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Eric Riley will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ben Wilson, Davida Butler, Robert McCulloch, Mike Wilson, Earl Partin and Amanda Stevens.
Visitation will be 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Church.
