Lizzie Rebecca Taylor, age 72, of Toledo, passed away in the Hospice Center of Northwest (Toledo) February 24, 2008. Born August 5, 1935, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Rubin and Iva (Pearl) McDonald. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and volunteered at the University of Toledo Medical Center in a number of different departments and was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.

Surviving is her husband of 37 years Robert Mitchell Taylor; daughters, Joan (Bill) Hanner, Linda A. Williamson, Kathy (Jeff) Steers; sons, Everett Williamson, Glenn S. Williamson, Steven R. Taylor, Stepson, Robert E. Taylor, step daughters, Diane (Rolland) Beck, Mary Beth (Peter) Lawless; brother, David A. Brewer; sisters, Helen Moore, Virginia Oxford; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Her sister, Kay Hodges; brothers, J.T., Carnel and Kenney Brewer, preceded Lizzie in death.

The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd. at Byrne Rd., Wednesday, February 27, 2008 2-8 p.m. where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday February 28, 2008. Entombment Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
