Roger Dale Burns, 63, of Savannah passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Hospice Savannah, Inc.

A native of Screven County, Georgia, he is the son of the late George R. Burns, Sr. and the late Carolyn Taylor Burns.

Dale was a Journeyman Electrician with the IBEW Local #508.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, George R. Burns, Jr.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Sherrie and Pastor Guy Boyd, brother and sister-in-law, John William "Bill" and Marty Burns, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, many cousins, other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Dean Forest Baptist Church.

Masks are required and it is asked that social distancing be practiced in accordance to CDC guidelines.

In lieu of flowers donations are asked to be made to Hospice Savannah, Inc., P.O. Box 13191, Savannah, Georgia 31416.

Services have been entrusted to Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel, 2794 West US Highway 80 Garden City, GA 31408. (912)964-2862.
