Barry was born at home in Port Trevorton on Sept. 5, 1945, the son of the late John and Wilma (Trevitz) Aucker.
He retired from Weis Markets as a truck driver. Barry formerly was employed at Keller Marine, Ulsh's, Butter-Krust Bakery, and his brother Robert's garage.
He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, Port Trevorton Fire Company, and Rooster's Corner Sportsmen's Club. Barry enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR, and mowing grass on his Steiner tractor at his home, the park in Port Trevorton, and at his cabin in Potter County.
In addition to his wife, Barry is survived by his three children and their spouses, Tracey and William Houdeshel, Terri and Trent Moyle, and Brad and Wendy Aucker; six grandchildren, Heath Moyle, Bryce, Bryan, and Eryn Houdeshel, Emma and Laura Aucker; a brother, Robert Aucker; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marjorie Hoover and Carol and Jim Gaugler; a sister-in-law, Barbara Aucker; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Glenn and Fern Dressler, and nieces and nephews.
Barry was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Zimmerman; two brothers, Stanley and Ronald Aucker; his step-father, Elmer Dressler; and a brother-in-law, Marlin Dressler.
There will be no viewing. A private graveside service will be held in Fairview Cemetery-Verdilla, Selinsgrove.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in loving memory of Barry to St. Paul's U.C.C. Church-Verdilla, 3272 Produce Road, Selinsgrove, PA 17870.
