Colleen May Hawkins, 89, of Franklinton passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020 at her daughter's home in Bloomingdale, GA. She was born on August 18, 1930 to the late Robert Lee and Ellen Tant May. In addition to her parents, Colleen was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Howard Hawkins.

Colleen loved spending time with her daughter and family. She was a good Christian woman who lived life to its fullest. She loved flowers and working in her gardens and especially loved roses.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday August 21, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery with the Reverend David Averette officiating .

Colleen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and Albert Boyd; her grandson, Daniel Boyd; great-grandchildren, Lauren Jernigan (Brandon) and David Boyd; and two great-great-granddaughters, Bristol and Teegan. Colleen is also survived by her sisters, Eunice Peterson and Janice Tant.
