Betty Sue McCoy, 82, of Spencer passed from this life on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at her home.

She was born Wednesday, September 1, 1937 in Spencer, the daughter of the late Max McGuire and the late Lillian Craig McGuire Brock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lester McCoy; son, Walter Linn McCoy; and grandson, Wendell Seth Guy.

She is survived by her son, Brad McCoy and wife Rella; daughter, Mary K. Guy and Joel; siblings, Margie Carter, Donzetta Morris, Sammy Brock and wife Lisa, Earl "Buddy" Brock and wife Roberta; ten grandchildren; twenty three- great - grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Spencer Funeral Home with Mike Adams officiating. Interment will be at Long Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and again Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Spencer Funeral Home.
