Ms. Cynthia "Cindy" Louise Hargett, 66, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020, in New Bern, North Carolina. A lifetime resident of Pollocksville, she was the daughter of Alfred Abner Hargett, Sr., and Eleanor Cox Hargett. Cynthia was a sweet caring woman who greeted everyone with a smile on her face. She made everyone happy with her sweet, gentle ways. Cindy was a huge fan of Elvis Presley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Michael Allen, Jennie Lynn, Julian Bryan and Donna Ruth Hargett. Cindy is survived by two brothers, a sister in law, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will gather from 5-7 PM, Friday, August 21, at Pollock-Best Funeral Home in New Bern. Pollock-Best Funerals & Cremations is entrusted with the Hargett Family.
