Born July 4, 1928, in Wabash County, she was the daughter of Edwin and Berniece Kiefaber Gillespie.
On February 23, 1947, in Wabash, she married Donald G. Draper, who preceded her in death on December 20, 2014.
Helen was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church. In the periods of her life she enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and her grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Nancee Lynne and Rick Davidson, Ft. Myers, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Joe W. and Deb Draper, Mesa, AZ; two grandchildren, Christy Jo (Matt) Denny and Brett (Michelle) Draper; great-grandchildren, Tinley Draper, Baylor Denny, Harper Denny and Decker Denny; a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at Kroeger Funeral Home, with the funeral service following visitation at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Chuck Compton will officiate.
Due to COVID-19, face masks are required to enter the building.
Interment will be at Ever-Rest Memorial Park
