Mr. Willie "Wallace" Jordan, Jr., 81, of Albany, Georgia departed this life Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 11:00 A. M. in Floral Memory Gardens, 120 Old Pretoria Road, Albany, Georgia.

Mr. Wallace Jordan, Jr. was born January 5, 1939 in Sylvania, Screven County, Georgia to the late Wallace Jordan, Sr. and Dessie Mae Jordan. He was the first born of nine children. In addition to his father and mother, he preceded in death by his four siblings; James Jordan, Isaiah Jordan, Sr., Aaron Jordan, and Mildred Jordan Driskell.

Wallace gave his life to Christ at an early age. He was educated in the Bibb County School System in Macon, Georgia.

Wallace was joined in Holy Matrimony to Cora Mae Newby and from this union they were blessed with five children. Wallace moved his family to Albany, Georgia in the late 1960's as he worked as the Head Bartender at Doublegate Country Club. In 1973, he began his career at Merck Chemical Company until he retired in 2003. Wallace loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman. He fished with his sons, his friends, and by himself.
