Thomas "Tommy" Andrew Holland, age 71, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Holland was born November 4, 1948 in Wilkes County to Andrew Frank and Mattie Goodman Holland. He attended Pilgrim Baptist Church; a US Army Veteran and retired from Lowe's Companies. Thomas coached travel softball and loved the Carolina Tarheels. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Bobby Caudle.
Mr. Holland is survived by his sisters, Ruth Caudle of Wilkesboro, Shelby Deskins of North Wilkesboro, Polly Brannock and spouse Jason of Wilkesboro, Frankie Caudill and spouse William "Bill" of Millers Creek; brother, Harold Holland, Sr. and spouse Ernestine of North Wilkesboro; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service with military honors will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Derek Kilby and Pastor Mike Hamby officiating.
