During Jaci Carroll's fight with cancer, she made it clear that if she lost the battle, she wanted the ashes of her mother Retha (Davis) Bates and her brother-in-law Donny Carroll to accompany her when she joined her husband Ben Carroll in their crypt at Sunset Memorial. Donny and Retha's ashes were each put inside their own photo pillows and placed in Jaci's coffin - so they are all together with Ben now, as Jaci had wished.
