Opal, age 92, passed away at Medicalodge in Columbus. She was the daughter of Walter and Marie (Davis) Mercer. She graduated from high school in Columbus. She married Gerald Fee on September 18, 1943, and divorced in 1945. She married Charles V. Ball in 1947. She married Al Wood in 2000 but later divorced. She is survived by her children, Janice Marsh and Charles Ball, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and her brother, Lee Mercer. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her siblings, Ralph Mercer, Carl Mercer, Mae Harper, and Mary Louise Duvall. Graveside services were held at Park Cemetery in Columbus.
