Jerry Michael Nettles, aged 60, passed away on August 13, 2020. Jerry was born November 8, 1959 to Ernestine Nettles. He served in the United States Air Force. Jerry proudly served his country from September 14, 1978 to March 12, 2004, when he honorably retired. He was proud to have served 20 years of active duty. Jerry was a semi-pro basketball player, who loved building model cars and airplanes as a hobby. Above everything else, Jerry loved taking care of his family. His family was his true love and passion in life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ernestine Nettles and his aunt, Sally Davis.

Jerry was survived by his wife, Iluminada Nettles; sons, Sean, Michael, and Clint Nettles; brothers, William and Curtis Nettles; sisters, Brenda Henderson and Daphanie Nettles Christian; grandchildren, Vidal and Desmond Nettles; and numerous other relatives that he cared for deeply.

A graveside service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola on Thursday, August 20, 2020 beginning promptly at 10:00 a.m.
