Mrs. Alfred J. Anderson, 78, died Thursday [December 12, 1946] after a lingering illness. She has been a resident of Worth county most of her life.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Shell Rock Synod Lutheran church conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Juul Madison. Burial will be in the Northwood cemetery, with the Klein funeral home in charge.
She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. J.F. Rustad, of Sau Center, Minn., and one son, Alvin B.C. Anderson, of Waterloo. (Globe-Gazette, Mason City, IA, December 13, 1946)
