Marsha Ann Curtis, current resident of Middleton, ID., beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and longtime resident of Idaho, passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2020 at the age of 72.

Marsha (Momma, as she was affectionately known as by many) is survived by her mother DeEsta (Windley) Rousey, husband Lee Curtis, daughter Wendy (Jeff) Lane, daughter Angela (Jeff) Smith, 5 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Vernest E. Windley, brother Mike Windley and her son Robert (Bob) P. Curtis.

Marsha was born in Montpelier, ID in 1948 to Vernest and DeEsta Windley. She attended high school at Borah High in Boise, Id., then later returned to finished her High School courses and receive her High School Diploma as Valedictorian from Boise High School's night program. She met the love of her life (her pain in the butt) when she was 21 years old. Five days later, they eloped and married and were together for over 51 years at the time of her death. She enjoyed telling the story of how they met and married to anyone that would listen. They were true soul mates.

She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held many positions in the church throughout her lifetime. She was the binding force in our family and had a special talent of making anyone and everyone feel welcome to whatever she was involved in. She was a self taught artist with amazing talent and known for her paintings of natural landscapes. For over 20 years, the family joke was that if an item sat too long it would be painted. Dad didn't stop moving too often. She was so creative and had an eye for creating art and beauty out of simple things. She was also knowledgeable about so many things and could hold hours long conversations with just about anyone. She never knew a stranger and made everyone feel accepted and special when they met. She enjoyed spending numerous hours Geocaching, camping and exploring the countryside in their side by side.

Her kindness and generosity will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
