Peggy Ann Hinkle Cole, 69, of Goshen, Virginia died Thursday, November 30, 2017 at her home. She was born August 29, 1948 in Lexington, Virginia, the daughter of Anna Mae Gentry Hinkle and the late Andrew Oliver Hinkle. Peggy was formerly employed as a secretary for BARC. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was devoted to her family.
Peggy is survived by her mother; her husband, Ralph “Sam” Philip Cole; children, Theresa Evans and husband Steve, Jeremy Cole, Tammy Montgomery and husband Douglas; son & grandson, Zach Cole; grandchildren, Damian and Danielle Montgomery, Olivia and Serena Evans, Aaron Cole; brothers, Andrew Hinkle, Jr. and wife Min, Ronald Hinkle; sisters, Shelby Fridley and husband David, Sheila Shifflet and husband Kenny; numerous nieces and nephews, and a special aunt, Betty VanBuren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Craigsville Funeral Home with Pastor Lloyd Via officiating. Interment will be in Goshen Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Cole, Steve Evans, Douglas Montgomery, Darrell Fridley, Jason Humphries, and Lee Hinkle.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Craigsville Funeral Home.
