Mr. Ronnie Carlton Carr, 72, of Covington, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Carr was born February 23, 1948 in Tifton, Georgia to the late Howard B. Carr and Reba Nell Parrish Carr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Carr who died April 30, 2017 and his brother-in-law, Buddy Rickman who died March 7, 2016.
Mr. Carr attended Willingham High School in Macon, Georgia and was a band member. He served his country from 1968 to 1974 in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was retired from Georgia Department of Defense. Mr. Carr was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Covington. He enjoyed having coffee in the Covington Waffle House with his friends. Mr. Carr loved camping and fishing, especially with his best friend, George Patrick.
A memorial service was held at Albritton Funeral Home in Tifton, Georgia on July 25, 2020.
